CellCom provides an integrated visualization and downstream analysis pipeline from five perspectives (Interaction, Expression, Communication, Contribution, and Downstream) to facilitate intuitive user-guided data interpretation. The input of the pipeline could be prediction results by Prediction.
The Interaction section shows the strength of intercellular communication and the strength of the signals sent and received by each type of cell by circle plots, heat maps, and scatter plots.
The Expression section shows the expression of ligand-receptor pairs in various types of cells through bubble plots.
The Communication section shows the cell-cell communication mediated by ligand-receptor pairs and signal pathways through circle plots, chord plots, and heat maps.
The Contribution section shows the degree of ligands, receptors, ligand-receptor pairs and signaling pathways contribute to intercellular communication through bar charts and heat maps.
The Downstream analysis section is taken to conduct more in-depth research from three perspectives: centrality analysis, similarity analysis, and communication mode analysis.
To enhance the visual clarity of the image, we will select more significant results for inclusion in the drawing when there is limited space. For instance, contribution bar charts, significant expression charts, and centrality analysis bubble charts will only display the top 15, 20, and 50 predicted communication probabilities, respectively.
