Cell-Cell Communication Prediction

CellCom integrated rich prior knowledge resources and 6 state-of-the-art methods for predicting cell communications, supporting user-defined combination of methods and resources.

Run the prediction. Enter the page of “Prediction” from navigation bar on the top, you can choose “Prediction” to input your own settings or “Example” to fill the input box automatically. Then click “Submit” to get your prediction results.

Load an example

You can load an example by choosing “Example” to fill the input box automatically.

Wait for a few seconds, when “Download” button appear on the page, you can download the prediction results.

Perform your prediction

You can upload your own files to perform the prediction. Choose “Prediction” to input your own settings. Then click "Submit" to start your prediction and save the jod-id for subsequent visualization and evaluation of the results.

Visualization & Downstream

If you want to visualize the predicted cell-cell communication, please make sure the predicting process has been finished, and you have already got the “job-id”.

Visualize your recent job. Get into “Visualization & Downstream” page from navigation bar on the top. You can paste your job-id and select a method to visualize the results.

Method Evaluation

To evaluate different methods more objectively, CellCom offers two evaluation programs. Before evaluate different methods, please make sure the predicting process has been finished, and you have already got the “job-id”.

Evaluate your recent job. Get into “Evaluation” page from navigation bar on the top. You can paste your job-id and get the evaluation results.

Guidance of Format

If you would like to construct your own database of prior knowledge, please upload your ligand-receptor pairs. The file should contain at least four columns: Ligand_Symbol, Receptor_Symbol, Annotation, and Pathway, separated by comma, shown as below.
